In the cozy space of Reimer Center, a place of warm gatherings and unforgettable impressions, a special event took place — an Easter celebration for children. On this spring day, the center was filled with sincere children’s laughter, the light of hope, and the profound meaning of the great Christian story. Around 40 children gathered to embark on a unique journey — from Christmas to the Resurrection.
The organizers ensured that every step of this journey was full of meaning, emotion, and interaction. It began with the story of Christmas — the moment the Savior of the world was born. The atmosphere was filled with warmth: candles, soft music, and heartfelt storytelling. Then, through stops along Jesus’ life path, everyone arrived at the events of Easter.
The most vivid moment was a theatrical encounter with biblical figures. The children met Pilate, who hesitated in judging Jesus, and Peter, who denied Him three times but later repented and became a pillar of faith. These characters were not only presented but brought to life through the emotional performances of volunteers, who conveyed the drama and hope of the Easter story.
After the spiritual part, a joyful and relaxed celebration began — games, fellowship, and competitions. The children ran happily, solved riddles, collected symbolic eggs with Bible verses inside, and enthusiastically took part in team challenges. Creative workshops were a highlight: some made greeting cards, others decorated Easter cookies by hand.
This day will be long remembered by the children. It left a mark in their hearts — not just as a day of fun, but as a deep understanding of Easter. It’s not just about eggs or gifts, but about the triumph of life over death, of light over darkness.
The children returned home with smiles, sparkling eyes, and the understanding that Easter is not just an ancient story, but a living hope we can carry in our hearts every day. Thanks to events like the one at Reimer Center, a new generation grows up with love, faith, and true values.
