After a short break, the children’s club at Reimer Center once again brought kids together for new adventures, joyful moments, and warm reunions. Around 30 children of various ages attended the first meeting of the summer season. The center was once again filled with laughter, active games, and vibrant emotions.
The beginning of summer is a special time for children — more free time, more opportunities to explore, and more chances to connect. That’s why the club’s leadership team is already preparing a week-long summer camp right on the grounds of Reimer Center. This camp will be not only about fun but also a safe and loving space where children can grow spiritually, learn new skills, build friendships, and simply enjoy their time.
A special highlight of the last meeting was a fun children’s fair. Over several weeks, kids had earned “club goshi” — a special internal currency — for participating in games, showing kindness, being attentive, and helping others. At the fair, they could spend their goshi on all sorts of exciting items — from stationery to sweets, toys, and surprise treats. It wasn’t just a game, but a hands-on lesson in responsibility and the value of effort.
“I loved the atmosphere and the happy faces of the children,” shared Sasha, one of the leaders who led the games. “When you see how they light up over small things, you realize how important it is just to be there — to inspire, support, and encourage.”
For many years, children’s activities have been an essential part of Reimer Center’s mission — offering kids hope, connection, positive values, and care. Parents feel this deeply. “Thank you for everything you do for our kids,” says Olya, the mother of a regular participant. “In our area, there are not many places where children can grow in love, kindness, and safety. But here, they are happy.”
Reimer Center continues to be a place where the future grows. Thanks to the dedication of volunteers, the support of partners, and God’s guidance, children return again and again — for new experiences, genuine smiles, and real care. And summer is only beginning — with many more events, adventures, and discoveries ahead.
