School Without Walls – May Meeting

Recently, Reimer Center hosted another gathering of the youth initiative “School Without Walls” (SWW), bringing together about twenty participants — young people from various churches and communities interested in spiritual growth and leadership. The event marked another step in shaping a new generation of ministers capable of working effectively in teams, building relationships, and influencing society through Christian values.

The central theme was teamwork — a vital element of healthy ministry. Participants not only listened to theoretical presentations but also engaged in practical workshops, discussions, and team exercises. They explored how to build effective dialogue, understand personality types, and work together harmoniously. Special focus was given to biblical examples — from Moses’ team to the apostolic ministry of Paul.

Sergiy, the leader of SWW, shared:
“This is a special time. Young leaders have a unique opportunity not only to learn but also to inspire one another toward deeper, more mature ministry. We are creating a space where everyone feels supported, finds like-minded friends, and discovers God’s will for their life.”

One key goal was to deepen the understanding that a team is not just a group of people, but a community of individuals with unique gifts and personalities. Through tailored activities, participants learned how each role matters and that team strength lies not in similarity, but in unity within diversity.

Ksyusha, one of the participants, reflected:
“I really loved the atmosphere today. There were deep topics, honest conversations, and so much practical value. The part about personality types really opened my eyes to how I relate to others.”

They also discussed modern leadership challenges — burnout, misunderstandings, and lack of spiritual support. With mentors, the youth searched for biblical solutions, prayed for one another, and found inspiration in faith heroes who served in teams — Jesus with His disciples, Paul with Timothy, Nehemiah with his people.

The meeting ended with informal fellowship, networking, and prayer. For many, it was a time of reflection, healing, and fresh encouragement.

School Without Walls is more than a training course — it is a space where future leaders are formed, where young people not only gain knowledge but also learn practical skills and become part of God’s team.
