Sasha – a father who found a great place for his child.

Sasha is an ordinary father who lives in Zaporizhzhia with his wife and son. Like many other parents, he was always looking for opportunities for his child to develop, make new friends, and have a place to spend time both joyfully and usefully. And such a place for their family became the “Econtact” club, which takes place weekly at Reimer Center.

When they first visited the club, Sasha immediately noticed the special atmosphere. It’s not just a place where children play, but a real community where every participant feels important. “Here, you immediately feel at home,” Sasha shares. “Everyone is friendly, smiling, and you know that you are here for a reason.” There is a place for fun games, singing, performances, and spiritual growth. It was important for Sasha that the club is based on Christian values, as knowing God is an essential part of his life, and he wanted his son to grow up in a good moral environment.

One of Sasha’s most vivid impressions was the performances staged by the children. They were not just entertaining but also taught important life principles. Together with his son, he watched the performances with enthusiasm and sometimes even participated himself. “I really like that children can learn important life values through play,” says Sasha.

Besides performances, singing together brought great joy. The songs filled the space with warmth and happiness, creating a special sense of unity. “I love singing with the children!” Sasha says enthusiastically. “The songs we learn here are not just beautiful – they inspire and support us in life.” Even at home, they continue humming their favorite melodies.

Apart from entertainment, the club also offers activities that help children develop communication skills and understand their emotions. “This is not just a club,” adds Sasha. “It’s a place where children learn to respect each other, express their thoughts, and listen to others.” These meetings help children become more confident and open to new friendships.

But most importantly, the club instills values. They are simple and clear, yet so important: to live by God’s laws, follow the Ten Commandments, and be honest, kind, and compassionate. “I see how my son is changing, how he is learning to be kind and attentive to others,” Sasha proudly notes. “This is not just a club – it’s a real school of life.”

For Sasha, “Econtact” became not only a place for his child but also a great opportunity to spend time together as a family. He is happy to participate in events, communicate with other parents, and explore new horizons with his son. “It’s amazing when you see your child happy, developing, and making new friends. And it’s even more wonderful when you are part of this process,” he adds. Everyone here feels supported because they share the same values and strive to make the world a better place.

The “Econtact” club at Reimer Center has become a place where their family can be together, learn, enjoy, and discover new things. And every time they return home after a meeting, Sasha smiles, remembering the wonderful moments they experienced together. “I am grateful for this opportunity,” he concludes. “And I’m very happy that the club continues to work, bringing joy, friendship, and spiritual growth to children and parents alike.”
