Each of us has a place where we feel needed, where we can grow as individuals and influence the lives of others. For Ksyusha, that place became the Reimer Center—a charitable organization focused on helping children, teenagers, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and other people in need of support. For more than a year now, she has been actively involved in the life of this center, dedicating her time and efforts to serving others.
The Reimer Center has become not just a place of service for her but also a true second home. Here, she has met many kind-hearted people, learned new skills, and, most importantly, has been able to realize herself in meaningful areas. She has found real friends who support her and a community where everyone understands and helps one another.
One of the main areas in which Ksyusha actively participates is the church at Reimer Center. She plays in the worship team, contributing not only her talents but also a piece of her soul. For her, it’s not just about playing a musical instrument or singing—it’s a real opportunity to worship God together with others.
In addition, Ksyusha works actively with children. She takes part in organizing children’s events, helps with various activities, and always finds an approach to each child. Her dedication and love for children are evident in every detail. She helps them grow not only spiritually but also morally, creating an atmosphere of care and trust for them.
“I love children very much. I enjoy spending time with them, watching them grow, change, and learn more about God. It inspires me and gives me strength to continue serving.”
One of the key areas where Ksyusha is involved is the Children’s Club. This is a place where children can not only play but also learn, communicate, and gain new experiences. Ksyusha puts a lot of effort into its development, organizing various events, workshops, games, and interactive lessons.
The Children’s Club has become a place where children feel free and comfortable. They know that here they will be heard, understood, and supported. Ksyusha believes that such initiatives help children become better, grow spiritually and socially.
“I see how children change, how they discover new horizons. This motivates me to put even more effort into this club and its development.”
Besides serving at the Reimer Center, Ksyusha is also a student at “School Without Walls”—an educational program that helps young Christians better understand leadership and teaches them to take responsibility. This is a place where young people can develop their skills, learn more about Christian values, and gain practical experience in ministry.
Studying at this school has been an important stage in her life. She has not only learned new skills but also gained a better understanding of herself—her strengths and weaknesses. She has learned to accept people as they are and to work on her character.
“During my studies, I realized that it is important not only to take responsibility for my actions but also to be patient with other people. I learned to react calmly when people don’t listen or act wrongly. It wasn’t easy, but it was very valuable.”
Everyone has their weaknesses, and Ksyusha is no exception. She admits that she finds it difficult to control her emotions, especially when facing challenges or misunderstandings. That’s why she has set an important goal for herself—to learn to control her anger and emotions in everyday life.
“I get angry easily, and I probably need to learn to control it not only in church but also in everyday life. It’s still difficult for me, but I know it’s possible, and I am working on myself.”
She strives to become the best version of herself, to work on her character, and to grow not only spiritually but also as a person. She understands that this is a process that takes time, but she is ready to put in the effort to achieve this goal.
Besides the opportunity to serve, the Reimer Center has given Ksyusha a sense of home. Here, she has met people who have become her friends, who support and help her in any situation. The atmosphere at the center is very friendly, open, and warm.
“When I came to the Reimer Center, I found not only a place to serve but also friends—real friends. Everyone here is very open to communication, supporting each other. It creates a special atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable.”
She believes that such centers have a huge impact on people, especially children and teenagers. They help not only materially but also spiritually, changing worldviews and giving hope for a better future.
Ksyusha is an example of someone who lives through service and puts her heart into it. She has found her calling at the Reimer Center, helping children, working in the church, and growing in the School Without Walls. Her story is one of love for people, the desire to make the world a better place, and personal growth.
Her journey is still ongoing, and she does not stop at what has already been achieved. She strives to grow, develop, and become better for herself and those around her. Her story is inspiring and shows that everyone can find their place where they can bring value and change the world for the better.
